At the First Parish Malden Universalist, our Sunday services and Sunday school classes offer more than a time for worship, but an opportunity to learn. Sure, most of our Sunday services have a Christian-based theme. But many times we’ll use our services to learn about the other great religions of the world. Or address issues of the day—immigration, education, equal-marriage, the Iraq war, and global warming for example—and how that affects our spiritual lives.

In addition, we host a coffee hour after our Sunday service. Many times, coffee hour serves as an open forum to continue discussion of the theme of that day’s service.
