Sunday, December 21, 10:30 a.m.
Christmas Celebration
Sanctuary. All-ages worship service.  The music-filled program features the First Parish adult and children’s choirs; Mariko Matsumura, soprano soloist and director of the choirs; Janna Bruene, pianist and organist; and guest artist, Mana Washio, principal flutist with the New England Philharmonic and the Neponset Valley Philharmonic Orchestra; and favorite Christmas carols. Children and youth may stay for the entire service on this special occasion. St. Nicholas makes an appearance and maybe Santa, too! Coffee and conversation follow in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30. Bring brunch food to share; coffee and beverages are provided.

Wednesday, December 24, 7 p.m.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Sanctuary. Enjoy a traditional service of lessons and carols as we herald the return of the Light of the World! Worship leaders: Rev. Horst, Rev. Clement, and Ms. Matsumura.

Sunday, December 28, 10:30 a.m.
Service of Forgiveness and Healing/Religious Education
Sanctuary. No resolutions required! Worship leader: Rev. Horst. Childcare for infants and toddlers provided from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at no charge. Religious education for young children. Coffee and conversation at 11:30 in the Fellowship Hall; bring brunch food to share.

Richardson Chapel. Join Rev. Horst for an hour of contemplative prayer and meditation prior to Sunday morning worship. Bring a reading, poem, or prayer to share. Childcare provided.

Día de los Reyes/Religious Education
Sanctuary. Join us as we celebrate Día de los Reyes (Three Kings Day), the twelfth day after Christmas, also called Epiphany. Día de los Reyes, a Latin American tradition, commemorates the biblical story of the three kings who followed the star of Bethlehem to bring gifts to the Christ child. Worship leader: Rev. Clement. Childcare for infants and toddlers provided from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at no charge. Religious education for young children. Come enjoy a piece of traditional King Cake during coffee hour; bring brunch food to share.

Hatha Yoga on Thursday evenings. Maureen Hynes, a certified yoga teacher and Reiki master, offers Hatha Yoga classes at the First Parish on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 through November 20. All levels are welcome. The classes are held in the religious education classroom. Enter from Pleasant Street. Call 781-322-7792 for more information or to register.
